We built this brand around a friendly language that induces conversation. The client wanted to make sure they drew in students rather then alienating them, like a lot of student based christian branding does. We feel we created a brand that will speak the students of the city ... literally.
The client wanted to represent unity and inclusion through their logo. We chose this do this by layering colors, much like a ven diagram.
The awesome thing about the icon based logo is that it can be used with or without the text, which is super useful for social logos and such like.
The layered colors were really nice to bring through to other aspects of the brand, such as the dates show above. We chose to go with large format dates, apparently students can be quiet forgetful ...
