What if
Democracy is a search for a common welfare. It is empathy. Indifference is the death of history. The will, spontaneous expression of vitality, can actually change the world. Thanks to the collaboration between human beings, people always search for happiness, trying to achieve a common goal: the collective prosperity. Anything can happen on every single day, every second and every moment of our lives, where we are the only protagonists.
The reaction from people is important and it means change, in order to ensure that in future there will be more solidarity, more mutual aid, more people cooperation to overcome the difficulties. Without injustice, without indifference, without prejudice that take away humans each other, but sharing the same ideal. No more disinterest but the will to live and to participate actively in life's society. Yes to empathy, which is the ability to act immediately in the mood of minds or in another person's situation, thus becoming a participant of being together.
Taking five historical photos of artists who recounted the history of the world and who were able to seize key moments, not hiding the facts, but trying to provoke with strong images and expressions of change, "What if" offers a different ending, a more human one. A strong emotion, positive at the same time, without erasing the past. It's right there, it exists, you can't forget it, but you can rebuild a better world with the help of the community. Find the will of change.
This editorial project touches on some topics like war, hunger, poverty and death. Each photo has its history, its drama and wants to tell something, to seize the moments that changed the future of the world. Usually we hear and see things that we don't want to see. A reportage that always arouses strong emotions. The project aims to encourage critical thinking of people and raises awareness about injustices in the world.
