Our campaign We All Bleed Red, expects the viewers to stand up against racism when they see it in a school environment, and react to it in a non-violent way. Either peacefully confront those involved in the situation or report to administration/staff. Students of all races should be comfortable going to school and should look forward to learning in an encouraging and positive environment. We need to enforce the idea of unity of races especially to the younger generations. Yes there are different races, cultures different from our own, and we don’t not recognize that. However, having peaceful relations between these races is what we want to encourage, enforce, and create. Racism is a disease and the cure is educating others on how words do hurt and we are all equal.
"My video conveys racism in school from a bystanders P.O.V. I filmed this video on a Sony HDR-CX900, with a boom mic attached, i used rule of thirds and close ups, and a long shot when filming my ad."
"For this video, I wanted to grab the audiences attention by using physical violence and closer shots along with long shots for emotion during the final scene. I wanted for these to balance out so that the meaning comes across for the viewer."
"I had to print out physical pictures of the background, people, and logos. Then we arranged and taped them to a piece of paper. We ran that paper through the scanner to make a digital copy."
"I made this magazine ad by cutting out images and placing them on a template. this was a manual process by moving the images around the template."
"In this ad I wanted it to be a clean and simple design with minimal but necessary elements used. Instead of creating this ad digitally, I actually printed separate elements and then later taped them to my ad template. I later scanned my physical ad to create a digital copy. This was a fun and creative process that was a beneficial contribution to the overall group project."
