Book Cover Illustration: Career Counseling

Finalized Book Cover Design for -
"Career Counseling: Helping Clients Chart A Course Through Work and Life"
Below you will find some additional imagery generated during the production of the cover.
The goal of this project was to visually describe the book's concepts in a clean, clear manner.  One of them is how one navigates their life akin to kayaking or sailing - Sometimes the destination is clearly visible, other times it's not - sometimes it's windy and you get blown off course etc.  With that, I wanted to have the book to have an inviting visual feel, one that wouldn't be intimidating to pick up.
This is a simple render of how the book cover may look - ultimately I would like to have a full wrap-around cover but that will be dependent upon publisher and book style choice come publishing time.
I knew the interior of the book is also quite important and wanted to have a unified theme throughout, thus I made a low monochrome 'stamp' that can be used in the book.  Taking the color vector of the kayaker that I had created above and then redesigning it to be visually recognizable in a two tone form was challenging and quite fun.
Another simple render of the interior of the book.  When it is published, I will be sure to provide an update on the physical print of it as I am really excited to see it!

Thank you very much for looking over my project!
