About five or six years ago, I had in mind to document the fantastic old signs from the 1940's through the 1960's that advertised all manner of motels and tourist attractions along the Florida Keys. I waited too long - they're all gone now, but there's still plenty of natural beauty to be found. Given what's going on in the Gulf right now, and with the climate globally, I hope that doesn't go the way of the mid-century modern architecture.
