Queen Up wanted to begin a set of T-Shirts which would be focused on empowering African American women to feel good about themselves. The T-Shirts were meant to remain minimalistic, my idea was to remain minimalistic in the illustration and use thought clouds in the afro in order to emphasize empowerment through evoked emotions and feelings.
