Mirror lifting mechanism for full-frame DSLR camera

Project made as an engineering thesis . Mirror lifting mechanism is a component inside the DSLR camera responsible for directing light which came through the lens to the eye of a photographer.
The one presented in this project was designed to work with full-frame DSLR camera and is able to reach up to 8 frames per second.
Bellow you can find animation containing explode detail view of the entire mechanism, which was used during the presentation of the project.
The project has been awarded by a board of examiners. The whole project consists of:
- drive system design,
- lifting system design,
- velocity analysis in order to reach required shutter frequency (using Autodesk Inventor Dynamic Simulation Module),
- optimization of shape of parts (weight reduction using Autodesk Inventor Shape Generator),
- the design of the vibration damping spring (using Autodesk Inventor Spring Generator),
- stress analysis during work (using combination of Dynamic Simulation and Stress Simulation Modules),
- visualizations (images and animations using Autodesk Inventor Studio).
