Kyst Is is a start-up-concept created in the course Development of Innovative Future Food at the Technical University of Denmark. The goal is to make sorbet popsicles made with seaweed and other local ingredients from the coast of Scandinvia, in order to accustom the Nordic countries to the thought of using seaweed in food. The concept won the Danish Ecotrophelia Competition of 2017, and will represent Denmark in Ecotrophelia Europe 2017.
