Alma Löv Museum of Unexp. Art
Where we are now

Alma Löv Museum of unexp. Art is an art union who strives to highlight contemporary and experimental art on a high level on the countryside.
During the summer months, artists from all corners of the world, exhibit their work in the museum’s sixteen pavilions and in the rebuilt Barn;
”Paleis Oranjestraat”. The artist Marc Broos established the museum back in 1998 and today he runs it together with his family.

2017 year’s summer exhibition ”Where we are now” refers to where art and the world is today. As the catalogue is the first of a series of annual editions, an important aspect of the project was to create a flexible design that still reflects the personality of Alma Löv – progressive, personal
and original.

Using a bright yellow tone, often associated with warning creates space for reflection on the situation of the world today and where we are now. The strict yet minimalistic layout highlights the artists work and with oversized graphic details, the catalogue simultaneously interacts with the museum’s playfulness.
