People with Down’s syndrome are living with 47 chromosomes instead of 46 which is the fundamental condition that distinguishes them from the rest. Society judges this group of people upon the 47 chromosomes which led to misconceptions and negative stereotypes. However, there are different sides of them which we seldom encounter with. This book conveys the truth of Down’s syndrome through 47 stories told by 47 parents of children with Down’s syndrome. It is aiming to break the negative perceptions that exist in this society.
