For numerous years, UVic English Language Centre had the same design style for all their print material. In 2017, they decided to pursue a more modern style for their main publication and I was fortunate enough to be the Lead Designer of this project.

My approach was applying a minimalistic style, stripping away of all unnecessary elements and focusing on what needs to be there.
By using grids to create a strong sense of alignment with the body copy, headings and graphic elements, I was able to come up with a clean, simple and effective design. 

The minimal design and the clear typographical hierarchy makes the navigation through the content, easy and functional.

This was my first time designing this brochure and it had a lot of great feedback, being considered by many the best design it ever had.
