Dominie Press and AlsOdoMinie presents Notebook Vol. 2: Inkling, an exhibition highlighting the collaborative relationship between Design and Print in the most basic and versatile of mediums – the Notebook. Do Not Design is tasked to design a notebook exploring the art of print alongside 9 other creative agencies curated by The Arm Collective.

The open brief gave us the liberty to explore different printing and folding techniques, as well as playing with different coloured papers and materials. The outcome of Face Book is informed by an assembled construction of individual die-cut leaves in different colours making up parts of a face on the fore edge of the notebook. Face Book encourages people to write more instead of planting themselves on Facebook.
