The Redwing is one of my favorite birds. Aggressive, sings beautifully and in the summer his red colour and stripes really show off.
The Short-eared Owl is not common in Iceland but a very beautiful bird. It flies silently and has piercing eyes.
The Cormorant looks just plain black but has very nice graphic pattern when closely looked upon. It is rather common in Iceland and related to pelicans.
