This was one of the very first design exercises I was exposed to. It had to result in a light diffuser but, the main goal was to get hands dirty with the design methodology and how one should transpose thoughts and ideas into physical and tangible things — designs!

I decided for this one. An owl, as an animal, has a very positive symbology — wisdom, sharpness, grace. Also, the composition of the picture, the colors, I find it very inspiring.

Think and find logic in your drawings, where are they leading you?
Having in mind I had to produce a series of 21 consecutive planes, made out of cardboard, some logic was necessary. I came up with this simple set of equations that would help me do so.
