Known as the city of mountains, Monterrey is a very unique city located in the North part of Mexico. The Monterrey City branding project consists on the development of an original logo with ten variations to represent the exclusive attributes that surrounds the city. The logo was inspired by Monterrey’s three main mountains, “La M”, “La huasteca” and “Cerro de la Silla”. “Cerro de la Silla” dominates the city from the east and is considered a unique symbol for their citizens. Since Monterrey is considered one of the wealthiest cities of Mexico, the idea is to brand the city with a modern, futuristic and geometric style. Monterrey is a modern, well-planned city that is easy to navigate and full of cultural offerings. The different feelings you can get by being just in one place helped come up with the slogan “changing perspective”.
