This was done for my independent study class. I had to do an illustration to go along with an article about the benefits of daydreaming. This was my process going through the piece.
This was my initial sketch showing that while the other students study the girl who is daydreaming rests on a cloud meant to symbolize that she is above her peers because of it.
This is after the teacher gave me some advice. Showing her physically above the other students enhances the feeling of being above them.

I met with my teacher today and he suggested a few changes to me so here it is after the changes were put in place.
