My heart was torn apart to know that Israel-Palestine Occupation is still happening. Apartheid has happened for decades. Only I'm on the other side of the globe, safe in an independent country, so it doesn't really bother me before. It's true, for years, I never acknowledged the suffering that the Palestinians has been through. I never realized how bad the occupation is for them.
Through this project, I learned that Amnesty International has regularly documented serious Human Rights violations by Israeli military forces in the occupied territories, including unlawful killings, torture and ill-treatments of prisoners, wanton destruction of homes with residents still inside, the blocking of ambulances, denial of humanitarian assistance, the use of Palestinians civilians as human shields, and has gone so far label them as WAR CRIMES.
