Apothecary: Curing the Competition

APOTHECARY: CURING THE COMPETITION
Game Design, Layout, Identity Design
Apothecary is a concept for a board game based on the ethical dilemmas that face the pharmaceutical industry. Do they want to permanently cure a disease or just create a temporary cure so they can profit from the drug sales. The process of design was done by a team of which i was responsible for illustrating and inking main character and the card illustrations. The concept was to create a pharmaceutical game based at the turn of the century so that every aspect felt old and well used. The character (named Bernard) was the pharmacist and is featured on the box cover as part of the game's logo and on all the card illustrations. The game features over 150 cards, six player boards, and a wooden box that functions as both a carrying case and main game board.
