‘Beastly Quirks’


I came to Tallinn in September 2017 without any idea what to expect, but with a lot of curiosity. This series is the first visual approach to Estonia.

The illustrative series ‘Beastly Quirks‘ is about the Estonians and their minor quirks, manifested in common Estonian phrases. Every phrase is illustrated by adding a typical Estonian animal. The motives are realized in different traditional printing techniques as for example etching, silk screen printing or linocut.
