RENAISSANCE ASTRONAUT
A3 (29.7 x 42cm / 11.7 x 16.5"). Risograph print on black cardboard (270g). Open edition. Every copy is signed with a gold pen.
In our hearts we always touched the stars. Poster of a Renaissance Astronaut, made for all my friends who love space but unlike me understands something about it. Metallic gold print on black. The illustration was originally drawn by hand with pen on paper. It features, in a style reminiscent of iconography, a bit from Sarah Williams' famous poem "The Old Astronomer (to his pupil)":
"Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light;
I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night."
