Parola ni Edgar is a Filipino social enterprise founded by a team of 5 students for their final, integrative project/thesis in college which aims to capitalize on seaweeds and transform them into innovative products. The goal was to provide sustainable livelihood for its partner community while delivering healthy food options to consumers.

Its partner community is the Batangas Seaweed Farming Association (BASEFA), a people's organization for seaweed farmers in the Philippines (Calatagan, Batangas).

The product is pickled seaweeds, which is similar to "atchara", a popular Filipino side-dish usually made from pickled papaya. It's a healthier and more innovative alternative to atchara, with dried seaweeds (Eucheuma cottonii) as the main ingredient. 

I worked as a co-founder and a Chief Marketing Officer of this social enterprise.
