“Suspended” the new breakfast set for DéLonghi, is born from the idea to give to the entire volume an optical lightening, creating a unique line between the various components.

The biggest challenge was to create an object that could express the Italian mood, not necessarily with strong formal and explicit references to Italy ‘60s, then in a nostalgic way, but in a new and fresh language. With the aspiration to create an object that can be icon in his time.

From here we created the base of support and heating of the kettle. It too has the purpose of making “suspended” the object and it does so by creating a contrast between light and shadows, just between it and the bottom of the kettle.

The styles of the kettle were finally applied to the toaster, an object no less important that must be in tune with the whole set.
