Evris is a new word made of “eureka”, “heuristic”. A heuristic technique (Ancient Greek: εὑρίσκω, “find” or “discover”), often called simply a heuristic, is any approach to problem solving, learning, or discovery that employs a practical method not guaranteed to be optimal or perfect, but sufficient for the immediate goals.
Lawyers deal with law puzzles everyday, so heuristic is the way to solve them. With this in mind, we designed a logo that celebrates puzzle solving.
Evris logo can flex to any format with a recognisable, consistent manner. We choose monospaced font for the logo which is not perfect, but sufficient as heuristic and stands out on the legal market where it’s almost unused now.
