CRUX — Identity

The CRUX Foundation is a nationwide, diaconal and non-profit organisation providing services within the health and social care field in Norway. The organisation is based on the Christian view of humanity with respect for the individuals integrity as a human entity. The foundation aims to improve quality of life to people in need, and help guide them in new directions.

Crux means cross, but is also referred to as the most difficult portion of an ascent in climbing. The identity emphasises the name by placing the four letters "CRUX" on the points of the star constellation Southern Cross. It can also symbolises the points of a climbing route or as individuals within the community.

The identity is playful, open and including. Green, being the colour of diaconia, is chosen as the primary colour. This to symbolise growth and life. The secondary colours are pink, blue, yellow and coral to symbolise diversity.
