La observación es una de las actividades más olvidadas en el diario vivir, pues nos convertimos en máquinas de producción y eficiencia sistemática. La idea de apreciar la esencia de las cosas que nos rodean ha pasado a un plano tan olvidado que definitivamente el tiempo queda siendo el único testigo de lo que sucede con cada una de esas cosas.

Al hacer nuestras cosas a diario olvidamos qué nos envuelve, qué nos rodea a menos que se trate de algo que nos afecte directa e inmediatamente, como el suelo por ejemplo. Ni siquiera nos damos cuenta de los cambios que sufre nuestro hábitat más inmediato y de lo efímero que es en sí todo lo que hacemos.

El detrimento de la urbe es un indicio de una manera de destrucción, pero de la misma esencia humana. Se busca un estado antinatural permanente en el sentido de que cualquier cosa que queramos hacer para que nuestra sociedad “avance”, no es más que una barrera en el río de la naturaleza. Simplemente hacemos ignorando lo que destruimos.

Cuando hay ausencia de actividad humana en algún sitio hecho para eso, la naturaleza hace un esfuerzo por equilibrar esa balanza de energía que hay en el lugar. Algún sitio abandonado por alguien retiene más de lo que el humano hizo allí directamente; retiene lo que las emociones manifestaron, lo que surgió como consecuencia de alguna reacción natural por parte de las personas. El sitio no debe tener rastros físicos, para saber que hubo alguien habitándolo permanentemente; casi siempre con el solo existir ya se percibe esa sensación.

DETRIMENT

Observation is one of the most forgotten activities in daily life, as we become machines of production and systematic efficiency. The idea of appreciating the essence of things around us has passed into a plane so forgotten that place is definitely the only witness to what happens with each of these things.

When we do our daily things we forget what surrounds us unless it is something that affects us directly and immediately, like the soil for example. We do not even realize the changes that our immediate habitat suffers, and the ephemeral nature of everything we do.

The detriment of the city is an indication of a way of destruction, and of the same human essence. It seeks a permanent unnatural state in the sense that whatever we want to do to make our society "advances" is nothing more than a barrier in the river of nature. We simply do ignoring what we destroy.

When there is an absence of human activity somewhere made for it, nature makes an effort to balance that balance of energy that is in place. Some place abandoned by someone retains more than the human did directly there; it retains what the emotions manifested, which arose as a consequence of some natural reaction on the part of the people. The site must have no physical traces, to know that there was someone permanently inhabiting it; almost always with the only existing already that sensation is perceived.
