Everyone Seems To Be Asleep #4

There are those who are watching. Those who are speaking. Those who are marching to the orders of others and those who are marching to their own. The violence has been added to the simulation. We await and watch for the results. 

This image reflects recent events, both political and personal, as well as my listening to the Add Violence EP by Nine Inch Nails. I created this digital painting to explore the events that we see around us and what forces may be at work behind the events and within ourselves. As in life, if you examine what you see here carefully, there is much more than there initially appears to be. There is the narrative as it presents itself, but many more layers of meaning that await discovery to those who probe a little deeper, much like the music that helped inspire it. 

I used photographs that I captured myself and then digital paint and painstaking manual and digital processes within Adobe Photoshop.
