CONCEPT
The objective of this project was to design a promotional campaign for Starbucks's Pumpkin Spice Latte for Halloween. To design this campaign, a concept poster was designed with support on social media. For research, we of course had to sip a cup of the latte at Starbucks. But moving on, a research was done on their previous campaign categorizing each under different flavours and different festivals.
DEVELOPING THE CONCEPT
Since the campaign was to be designed for Halloween, a spooky theme was developed. The concept phase was based around the characters from old American Halloween folklore. Characters like the Abominable Snowman, Scarecrow, Headless Horseman, etc. were considered. After quite a number of concept sketches, the Pumpkin Head became "the chosen one".
THE DIGITAL PHASE
Next the sketch was scanned and taken to Adobe Photoshop (Ka Chingg!!! for technology) for further development and colour. In Adobe Photoshop the inking and colouring was done. Furthermore a background was added to make the image complete. After a few colour adjustments and adding the text, the final poster was developed.

EXECUTING THE CAMPAIGN
The campaign was executed both using a physical poster and social media. Facebook being a widespread media, was used as as the prime social media to execute the campaign.
