The installation Wave-Isualization is an attempt to combine the material and the immaterial, creating a symbiosis between them. Materially generated waves of water in a transparent tank intertwines with immaterial waves of light projected from above. The movement of the water creates a looping animation on the ground with anthropomorphic features, similar to a breathing motion.

The light is generated by a projector set to project a live video of the drops falling at a very fast frame-rate (1/400), this causes, because of the slower frequency of the projector (144Hz), the overlay of the RGB layers and a very colorful effect.
The final result is a projection that appears on the ground, a looping visual element that breaths in and out as the drops fall in the water and create a movement, a very peaceful and calm animation.

Installation last exhibited for the Bologna Design Week 2019.
