MODS™ The word MODS™ is short for Modular On Demand Structures. They are a Wisconsin based corporation formed in 2010 for the development of structures to be used for emergency housing or other buildings in a disaster or other need for immediate relief. Owner Doug Larson worked in Hurricane Katrina several years ago with his construction company Orion Builders. Because of his knowledge and living in emergency conditions Doug developed the method to convert large cargo shipping containers into structures people can seek immediate shelter in and live for a long period of time.
