The design brief was to create a brand new interior for a new super-midsize business jet to be called the Bombardier Aerospace Challenger 300. The aircraft was announced in 1999 and entered commercial service in 2004. The following images are preproduction interior of the aircraft used to show potential customers before orders are taken. The vision for the interior used a modern business environment as a base for driving the look and feel of the interior. Modern materials and clean lines were emphasized versus the typical highly decorative private jet interior. Seating areas emphasized connectivity for business travelers and versatility for close quarter meetings.
