From Zewail City Science Festival`16 work

Zewail city science festival Is an annual science festival that takes place in zewail city for science & technology, To simplify science for anyone interested in it despite having a scientific background.

ZCSF`16 main theme was inspired from " Alice in wonderland " animation film, and the main idea was blending science with art by taking the attendees into 8 stations through 2 corridors, each station is talking about a science or art topic.

The designs and artwork of those stations are done by 29 junior artists in faculty of fine arts, Helwan university in Cairo ,Egypt

Design Concept:

The design was inspired from the concept of time travelling and the different time eras.

The room was divided into two equal sections , the technological futuristic era and the past era.

The technological futuristic era was presented by led lights and the past era was presented by the caves texture.

Materials used:

Black fabrics - Blue and white led lights – craft paper – sackcloth.
