Careers Website | PwC Italy
The main communicative challenge was to create site in a modern layout, easy to browse and, above all, mobile friendly. The need to make this website became crucial after an initial phase user analysis, with particular focus on graduates looking for their first job. These type of users in fact, unlike the common PwC site users, surf the internet via their smartphones or other mobile devices.
Before deciding how to develop the graphic interface of the website, I gathered precious information through a survey I sent to some new joiners, i.e. people that are not fully aware of the firm’s structure yet.
The aim of the survey was not only to define the customer experience, but also to detect the themes graduates (and youth in general) found relevant and wanted to see in the new career website. Indeed, after the survey we deleted some themes that we initially conceived as important to be in the website.

The layout and the graphic of the pages meet two different needs: they are compliant with PwC brand rules and also respond to the needs the user testing phase highlighted. For this reason I created a scrolling, mobile responsive website with smart and light layout and concise insights, which put the focus on career and development opportunities in PwC.
In fact, the main goal of the new career website was to shift the focus from PwC ‘grandeur’ to applicants looking for a job, highlighting what PwC has to offer and communicating all the information people need to know before applying.

In addition to the new joiners I interviewed, during the realisation of this project I had the opportunity to cooperate both with the Employer Branding Unit and the Partner of the HC function.
