An interactive installation that unifies the pleasure of music with Desperado’s. The installation is motion sensored and involves the use of multiple Desparado Bottle’s hung from the ceiling of a branded Desperado’s tent. Each bottle hung in the installation contains a sensor, speaker and LED light, to which reacts with the interaction of people.

Concept
While wondering around a music festival, someone walks into the branded Desperado’s tent. As said person walks in, the music starts playing.  All of the sudden he realises it mirrors the situation he’s at- he’s there by himself. So what, with good music, you can have a good time by yourself. Moments later another person comes in, a stranger. The music changes – now it’s a romantic song about love. A short awkward moment and a laugh. Coming out of the tent with a new acquaintance. Coming back with lots of friends to see how will that affect the music. Finishing with a party. A quirky and interesting addition to any festival celebrating music.

How it works
The installation is programmed to react to the number of people interacting with the Desperado’s piece. The programme randomly chooses songs from 1 of 4 playlists, the playlists consist of various genres of music that play when a single person or group interacts.  Each song is processed to establish the different music chords playing, based on sound frequency. Different bottles are going to be assigned to different chords, switching between each other seamlessly through the song. The LED light adds a sense of atmospheric visuals that react reacts to the bass of the music.
