I was asked to be Godmother of my cousin’s baby girl. I wanted to give her a gift that holds personal meaning to me. Therefore, I started to look for Alice in Wonderland in Danish. I wanted a copy with the original illustrations by John Tenniel which proved to be impossible in Danish.

Instead I started to make one myself. The project became a small study in bookbinding which turned out to be quite fun for me.
