ReCharge - App game design

An advert created for the basis of a game celebrating the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, with a concept relating to the phone itself and following an 8-bit visual style. 
The aim of the game is to make it to the end of the level without losing all of your battery, enemies (shaped like apps) will drain your charge if you come in contact with them. Collect charge bars, goodies and extras (such as the do not disturb icon which gives you the power to be invisible to enemy apps), complete the game and move on to the next level, with each level getting progressively harder.
One of the end levels, where the backdrops get more modern as the levels move on and the feel of the game gets more futuristic. 
A range of characters, enemies, goodies and the controls, all keeping with the 8-bit style. 
Character customisation screen where you can draw whatever you like in the square space and it will become your character, this gives the user a stronger attachment to the game and gives them more power - keeping them interested.
