Problem: Create a photo-realistic image using gradient mesh. The shadows on the cup was there but it lacked a photo-realistic feel. Also the lemonade itself within the cup was just not photo-realistic.
Solution: Point by point I altered the colors and opacity which created the illusion of a glass cup. With the lemonade I lightened up the higher points to show the light hitting it and left the bottom darker where the ice is.
