36 Days of Type is a project started by ninasans and rafagoicoechea, that invites designers, illustrators and graphic artists all around the world to express their particular view on letters and numbers of the latin alphabet.
36 days of restless creativity, where participants are challenged to design a letter or number each day, resulting an outcome of the ability to represent the same symbol from many different perspectives.
This is my first time taking part in this amazing challenge. I was inspired to experiment with gothic characters by the latin calligraphy workshop I attended earlier this year. All letters & numbers were handwritten using a dip pen, and then, digitized, in an attempt to combine the benefits of both traditional & digital techniques.
