As an avid paddle boarder, I'll sometimes use an anchor for everything from fishing off the board to yoga classes. The current paddle board anchor market didn't offer a great solution. So I designed my own.
Attach the bag to the board using a carabiner and a simple lash point solution. There are many available options. The webbing along the outside offers additional attachment points for accessories.
By passing the anchor's rope loop through the top of the zippered opening, it can be attached using the carabiner as well.
To anchor out; unzip the bag, ready your anchor and toss overboard.
If the bag happens to take on water, no problem. Delrin zipper teeth, tarpaulin fabric, a plastic zipper puller, and closed cell foam all mean this bag can
take a drenching. Grommets along the base of the bag allow for easy drainage and let that soaked anchor dry out.
