The book contains paintings of the XX and XXI centuries which related to optical illusions. The goal of the research was to analyze the variety of the artworks and to define the influnce of the optical illusions on viewers.
It's two sided book, which has two covers. The first part of the book describes a Substantive image method and the second one shows an Abstract image method. There is also a small book that is called Kinds of illusions. It provides some extra information and explains the various types of human illusions in detail.
/ Substantive
This part of the book includes artists related to cubism, surrealism, imp-art and contemporary op-art movements. Both parts of the book presents the artists in alphabetical order. Every paintings is followed by some detail information of the artwork including the name of the work, the year of its creation and the kind of illusion.
/ abstract
This part of book includes artists related to geometrical abstraction, op-art and contemporary op-art movements. The artworks are folowed by the famous artists quotes in both parts of the research.

This is a small book, which is sewn in the middle of the large book. It explains all kinds of illusions that the reader meets in the research. The book is divided into 4 parts: Shape, Color, Space and Movement. All descriptions are accompanied by the pictures. Also next to the descriptions of illusions there are lists of pages and artists which link the illusion and the art pieces. It simplifies the search for images in the main book.
