RÁ SPARKLING LEMONADE WATER    Packaging design

The design concept for this project was inspired by the Ancient Egyptian culture and its myths. It has been told that the earliest written evidence of lemonade was found in Egypt. For this project I used geometric forms of lines and a radiant color palette to visually illustrate the mythical tale of the Egyptian god, known as the Sun God, Ra.

THEME: ANCIENT EGYPT/  SUN OF GOD, RÁ
It is believed that all forms of life were created by the Egyptian God Ra, calling them into existence by speaking their secret names, while humans were created from his tears and sweat. The Egyptian God Ra (also spelled Re) is the ancient Egyptian Sun God. He was believed to rule in all parts of the created world: the sky, the earth, and the underworld. The creator of everything. To the Egyptians, the sun represented light, warmth, and growth. This made the sun deity very important, as the sun was seen as the ruler of all that he created. The sun disk was either seen as the body or eye of Ra It is used as protection and divine royal power. It is sometimes proposed that the pyramids represent the rays of light extending from the sun and thus these great monuments connected the king with Ra.
