This is a design for a solar powered back up system and solar water heating system.
The system is powered by four 250W panels which charge four 200Ah batteries.
These four batteries are connected to an inverter which converts the DC power from the batteries into AC power for the house.
The solar water heating system has two large solar collectors which heat up cold water supplied by the main storage tank which acts as a geyser.
The whole system is powered by 2 heat pumps which circulate the water from the tank to the collector and back, and out the into the house as this is a gravity system.
