Tony and Susan is a Novel by Austin Wright. It is about Susan Morrow, who receives a book script from her former Husband, it is called „Nocturnal Animals“. She gets caught by the story, which throws her back to her past life and decisions.
The two stories in the novel, the one about Susan and the one that she reads, are displayed by two different layouts and typefaces which are based on each other.
The Movie was released in 2016. The Screenplay, written by Tom Ford, is based on Wright’s novel.
The light floating structures on the cover represent the different approaches of the two authors for the character of Susan and simultaneously hint at the permanent fear that the characters feel.
The feeling of being caught in the novel of her ex-husband is portrayed by the dark blue color-cut of the book pair.
