I started this personal project illustrating poets and writers well known for their works, as well as their tragic deaths. As I was looking for information about them I realized that many, many of these well known artists did not have an opulent life nor ever benefited from the fame that today accompanies their names. However, none of them stopped feeling passionate about writing; and it was because of that passion that they kept producing their works (despite the circumstances). Such dedication and persistence is something I find both motivational and inspirational.
Empecé este proyecto personal ilustrando poetas y escritores conocidos por sus vidas un poco trágicas. A medida que iba buscando información sobre ellos, caí en la cuenta que muchos, muchísimos de estos artistas (con tanto renombre ahorita) no tuvieron una vida opulenta, y mucho menos se beneficiaron ni conocieron la fama que hoy por hoy acompaña a sus nombres y apellidos. Sin embargo, a pesar de las circunstancias, ninguno de ellos dejó de escribir o dejaron de sentir pasión en hacerlo. Tal entrega y persistencia es algo que encuentro tan motivacional como inspiradora.
