Radio Flyer hosted the first ever kids travel agency to celebrate 100 years of inspiring imaginative play and unforgettable adventures. At Radio Flyer Adventure Travel, children were introduced to impossibly wonderful destinations they can visit only with their imagination and a Radio Flyer. This was a Pop-Up space that was open for one day.
Ten illustrators from around the world took part in making these make-believe destinations into a reality through a series of posters. These posters extended into different forms of collateral which were given away at the event. The content also lived online. I had the pleasure of illustrating one of the posters.
FLIPPING PANCAKE ISLAND
If you want an island getaway and also love syrup, blueberries and chocolate, and even bacon, then Flipping Pancake Island is just the place for you. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a cast of dancing sausage links, who will adorn you with a sausage link necklace on which you can snack at your leisure. For the thrill-seekers, visit the chocolate fudge monster that inhabits the unburnt side of the island.
