Feminism Fear — Peachy Dublin

Peachy Dublin was an art and documentary venture driven by the fears of the public. It has developed into a creative collective working in Dublin.

Each artist was given a fear submitted by the public and was asked to visualise it. My fear was feminism.

Many feminists have long tried to wrest away from the original uses, the power and harm of various words used against them and to give them new meaning.

I tried to visualise in typography the dichotomy between the two sides of this spectrum. The fear of being one, or the other. Using two sets of words used to describe women that can be viewed as derogatory depending on your perspective.
