Brand identity project for a UNESCO World Heritage Site implemented across a number of deliverables featuring Mammoth Cave in south-central Kentucky–the world’s longest cave system.
Within the depths of caves lies a world of perpetual blackness.
While the invention of artificial lighting allows Mammoth Cave to be explored by sight, the eerie shadows are a constant reminder that the underground is a dark place. Reflecting this, the visual identity is relatively simple and makes frequent use of dark backgrounds.
