Logo + Numeric Font
A personal approach on a logo concept for the young lions, England's U21 football team and a new bespoke numeric font.
The logo is simple following a circular geometric grid system, using a positive and negative form (stripes) for the numbers 2 and 1. The colour palette is identical with the well-known English crest (3 lions) where the logo can also be used as a lockup.
I have also designed a new numeric font to follow the same U21 logo principles in 4 weights Regular, Bold, Regular Condensed and Bold Condensed. Font's simplicity enhances its legibility in both print and web applications.
