Ola Play is the world’s most advanced connected car experience and entertainment platform that’s going to revolutionize the way one travels. Ola Play lets you listen to Music/ Videos/ Movies/ News and more.
I was given the responsibility of designing the identity for Ola Play. This project was done under tight schedule, as the dates for launch was already decided on. I got around seven days to work on the Logo form and also develop the assets required for the different use-cases for Ola Play in the app.

I started of with brainstorming the key words, creating an inspiration board for the same.
Since the product is about playing content, I decided to keep the play button as the base element in the Logo form. According to the Ola Brand book, we had a predefined structure for the Logo type that was followed across the sub brands of Ola. I began exploring forms, keeping in mind the base form.
While I was exploring the option for the logo form, an interesting idea struck me. Paper planes- simple, customizable, playful. These were exact keywords that the product represented. Then designed an option combining the Play button and a Paper plane.
Once these options were ready, I started figuring out the use-cases that the logo form would be used in the app. The cars in the app had to be branded, Intro screens, Ride detail page were the other main sections in the app, where the logo form will be used. These identified use-cases were mocked.
