BACKGROUND: The American Cancer Society holds an annual wine auction in Nashville to raise money. The featured wine for this auction was Port, which can misunderstood and intimidating even among wine connoisseurs. There was concern that people unfamiliar with its unique qualities might be hesitant to bid on the pricey wines.

A series of 6 frameable invitations to auction related events were created to educate patrons about the what makes Port so special and worth the price tag. Collateral materials used at the events further reinforced the history and mystique.

The auction grossed its highest profits to date.
