Survivor of torture is a charity which aims to rebuild survivors of torture and reintegrate them into communities - they needed a re-brand to encourage more people to donate to their charity. 

I worked with 3 others on this project. We created a brand logo, colour palette, tone of voice, website, starter pack and communication cards for the survivors. Our brand aims to harness a playful/personal and friendly look averting the focus from the darkness of the torture and placing it upon the survivor’s future and positivity.

The key to our branding is the symbol within the logo - it represents a person (the survivor), a semi-colon (a new start to the survivor’s stories) and speech marks to give the survivors their voices back (as they have been often ignored by their governments).
